Each model is handcrafted from scratch by master craftsmen, meticulously following historical photographs, drawings, and original plans. Hundreds of hours of skilled labor go into each ship, ensuring exceptional quality and detail.

This stunning Norske Love model boasts a distinctive white-painted lower hull, three decks, and two and a half rows of metal cannons on either side. The bowsprit and three towering masts are expertly rigged, with intricate hand-knotted lines and handcrafted sails made of fine linen. Metal anchors and a wooden rudder complete the exterior detailing.

On the deck, you'll find wooden cabins, a windlass, and beautifully crafted ornaments. The stern showcases an elaborate admiral’s quarter, adorned with handcrafted brass-coated metal lanterns and intricate decorations.

The model is mounted on a solid wooden base with a brass nameplate, making it a perfect centerpiece for collectors, maritime enthusiasts, or home and office décor.

History:

The Norske Love, also known as the Norwegian Lion, was constructed in 1765 at Nyholm shipyard near Copenhagen. Named after the Norwegian Lion depicted on the Danish-Norwegian Imperial Coat of Arms, this 70-gun warship played a crucial role in naval defense. It housed a crew of 667 men and was equipped with 26 cannons on the lower deck, 26 on the middle deck, and 18 on the upper deck.

Primarily serving as a guard ship in Oeresund and Danish waters, the Norske Love was later converted into a block ship in 1795. That same year, after a devastating fire in Copenhagen, the stripped-down vessel provided shelter to homeless families. In 1798, it was officially removed from the naval register, marking the end of its service.
