The History of San Felipe Ship
The San Felipe, a stunning Spanish ship from 1690, was a big deal back in the 17th century. It led the Spanish Armada and was armed with a whopping 96 cannons, making it a force to be reckoned with against French and British ships. Its job was to protect Spanish settlements, carry valuable stuff, and make it back home safely. In 1705, it got into a huge fight with 35 British ships, but after 24 hours of battle, it was captured and sank with tons of gold onboard.

About Old Modern Handicrafts Vietnam
Welcome to Old Modern Handicrafts Vietnam! At our company, each ship holds a tale within its wooden hull. Whether it's the front or the back, the right or left side, every boat comes with its own special history. Through our skilled craftsmanship, we bring these stories to life with passion and dedication.
We combine old-school shipbuilding methods with modern techniques to create our models. Our expert craftsmen in Vietnam make each ship entirely by hand using traditional techniques like plank-on-bulkhead construction. They also use fancy tools like laser machines to add precise details. Every ship is a smaller version of the original, made with exact proportions to keep it authentic. It's this blend of old and new that makes Old Modern Handicrafts stand out.

- Our museum-quality models take hundreds of hours to make.
- We use top-notch wood like western red cedar, mahogany, rosewood, and teak.
