A brief overview of the Goto Predestination Painted L50 model ship and its unique features

This is a special FULLY ASSEMBLED replica of Goto Predestination (Gods Predestination, literally The Providence of God). It was the Russian 18th-century navy flagship, 58-gun and three-masted battleship.

Master craftsmen using historical photographs, drawings or original plans meticulously handcraft these highly detailed wood models from scratch. They are built to scale with high-grade wood such as: western red cedar, rosewood, and mahogany. They are 100% hand-built individually using the plank-on-frame construction method and are similar to the building of actual ships. Each model requires hundreds of hours to finish and must go through a demanding quality control process before leaving the workshop.

This beautiful Goto Predestination model has black, blue, and creamy off-white colors painted on the sides of the hull. It features plank on frame, three decks, and two rows of ferocious metal cannons on each side of the ship. The front bowsprit and three large masts are connected securely using advanced rigging and lines painstakingly knotted and fastened by hand. Each yard has an attached hand-stitched rolled-up sails made of fine linen. Metal anchors and a wooden rudder are visible on the front and rear of the ship. On the deck, there are metal stationed cannons, authentic hand-built lifeboats with ribs and planks, wooden cabins, wooden bell towers, wooden windlass, and many other spectacular ornaments. There is also an exquisite detailed admiral’s quarter on the stern with beautiful handcrafted metal lantern, statues of dolphins and its riders, and other unique embellishments.

This model comes standard with a solid wood base and brass nameplate. It’ll make a perfect gift for a home or office decorator, boat enthusiast or passionate collector.

2. The History of the Goto Predestination Painted L50 Model Ship

Because Peter the First wanted to open an international and naval trade expansion to create Russia's political ascendant in the international arena, Goto Predestination ship was made in 1700 to be equipped for Russian Marine. It was used in warfare of the coalition of Russia, Denmark, Germany and Poland against Sweden that played out from 1700 to 1721. In 1714 Goto Predestination joined in the Baltic campaign and won the first battle for the Russian Naval in Hango. In 1719 she joined in warfare to attack Sweden. She participated in many battles in 17th-18th century and she was improved for several times. She rested in the beginning of 19th century when there was a worldwide revolution of structure and boat weapons.
