    3. History of the DANMARK Tall Ship Model:

DANMARK is a steel-hulled, three-masted, and full-rigged ship with a rich history. It was constructed in 1933 at Nakskov Shipyard in Denmark specifically as a training ship, playing a crucial role in providing basic training for aspiring seafarers.

    • As the property of the Kingdom of Denmark, DANMARK has its home base in Denmark. While capable of sailing worldwide, recent voyages have primarily focused on European waters.
    • DANMARK's significance extends beyond Danish waters. Notably, the ship occasionally crosses the Atlantic Ocean, visiting the USA on special occasions. During World War II, DANMARK stayed in the USA, offering training for US cadets.

With an impressive capacity, DANMARK can carry 26 sails, covering a total area of 1632 square meters. This sailing prowess, coupled with a main engine generating 357 kW, ensures the ship's ability to navigate even when faced with erratic winds.
